 North Carolina is home to some of the best vineyards in the country. In fact, the state is ranked as one of the top wine-producing states in the United States. There are many different types of wines produced in North Carolina, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The Yadkin Valley Wine Trail

The Yadkin Valley the most popular trail in the state. This trail features over 30 different wineries, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to taste some delicious North Carolina wines.

Duplin Wine Trail

Dupline Wine Trails

This trail features over 20 different wineries, so you’ll be able to sample a wide variety of wines.  This is North Carolina’s oldest and largest winery, located in Rose Hill. The Duplin Winery offers a variety of red, white, and blush wines, as well as a number of special events. Visitors can take a tour of the winery, enjoy a wine tasting, or purchase wine by the bottle or glass.

Raleigh Wine Trail

This trail includes six different wineries, all within an hour’s drive of Raleigh. The wineries on this trail offer a variety of wines, from dry to sweet, and red to white. There are also a number of special events held throughout the year, such as live music and food trucks.

Southern Gateway Wine Trail

The Southern Gateway Wine Trail offers visitors the chance to sample wines from eight different wineries, all within a short drive of each other. Highlights of the trail include Raffaldini Vineyards, which specializes in Italian varietals, and Graystone Winery, which has a beautiful tasting room overlooking the vineyards.

This trail features seven family-owned wineries located in the Yadkin Valley. The Yadkin Valley is North Carolina’s first American Viticultural Area (AVA). There are a variety of wines available for tasting and purchase, as well as beautiful scenery.

Tips To Explore North Carolina

When you’re visiting a North Carolina vineyard, there are a few things that you should keep in mind. First, it’s important to dress appropriately. Many vineyards require visitors to wear closed-toe shoes, so be sure to pack a pair of comfortable shoes. Additionally, it’s a good idea to bring along a sweater or jacket, as it can get cool in the evening. Finally, don’t forget to bring your camera! North Carolina’s vineyards are absolutely beautiful, and you’ll want to take plenty of pictures.
